There are probably hundreds of clubs in CA that rent out tracks for that sort of thing, although not for $12 a day.

is one. Sign up for HPDE & have fun.
it's a one person job, but you'll at least need a jack. Spend the ~$20 for jackstands or borrow them.
what brand of STB is it?
have to do some work on the car today... will post pics of the STB contact locations later.
You shouldn't need an alignment. There should be nuts on the other side of the strut tower that can be accessed from inside the wheel well. The bolts at the firewall (if any) are probably held in with a threaded backing plate.
Rotors have been turned & it took less than an hour. Turned out great! Guess I'm lucky this shop is in the area.
South County Auto Parts on Reavis Barracks... for the locals.
Pics attached...
Scored the rotors & they need to be turned. Car (99 gt) has the Brembo Gran Turismo front brake kit. 13" slotted rotors.
Does anyone know the minimum thickness to which these rotors can be machined?
Block out on-track pics (or remove your plates).
Big Brother insurance could be watching. Or seeing your unreported mods in your sigs. Probably not, but it's possible.
What is that little hollow bar that goes betweem the steering gear boots for?
One end keeps slipping out every now & then, & it's becoming enough to make me want to remove it completely. What is it supposed to be doing on there?
Thanks.
my brother's car was broken into the same way. they took all his christmas presents out of the trunk, his 1st aid kit, but left a $125 hockey stick & a $500 pair of ice skates. nice.
anyway, install a steel plate in the door between that hole & the lock rod & do it on both doors. if they...
There are 2 bolts on the bottom corners of the rear seat. For the top, fold the seats down, 3 bolts (i think) hold that top "cap" portion on. Once that's off, then a couple more that hold the seat frame & it should come out.
