the "fast idle solenoid" is physically broken. i need to replace it. how the heck to i locate one? i've been searching online and can't find a thing. napa, summit, mustang parts warehouses, none seem to have what i need. is anyone familiar with what i'm talking about and been able to locate...

i got brembo solid rotors...supposed to be better. havent had the car running long and good enough to actually try them out.

for how much? i think a nice trailer aint much more money..but i never looked into it. got mine for 800 with new tires brakes on an axle all the straps i need andddd an electric winch! cant beat that, goes to show theres plenty of deals to be found.

moroso yeah you can get just rears. summit i guess? i dunno i got mine new/used, never installed from someone local. you can buy the airbag seperate as well, without buying the whole eibach drag setup.

i have moroso drag springs, i dunno how they'll do. also an air bag.

yeah on a dolly theres not much tongue weight...with a trailer you set it up accordingly...i mean with bigger tow vehicles its not abig deal..but lighter tow vehicles tongue weight can become very important. i was told this, when i set up my jeep for towing... weigh the tongue/hitch down...

dolly that bia bassackwards. lock the steering wheel up straight.

have you had the belt off and felt the p/s pump pulley? the bearings or teflon stuff within wears bad, its a common problem sometimes you could even notice gray/silver in your p/s fluid. but the pulley will become very unsteady, wobble and such. theres nothing you can do besides rebuild or...

i think you can use it, i'm not really sure about it though. and the mirrors are usually different than a t top door mirror.

i hear they are a bit of a pita to tune even though you can make them work. a friend had one on a procharged car, shop couldnt get it perfect with it on the car. put a pro-m on and all was perfect. might want to just spend the extra money. or get his old one recalibrated if its aftermarket.

think 130 is too light even with nothing on the front end? i only have the blower and alternator, no ps ac air or anything...just that. and yeah long time no talk, been doin good...new motor last season, disappointed, so i got a great deal on a this from my old snap on mand and coundt resist...

thats pretty much what i figured it was from is the lack of rubber in the new setup. when taking apart the old stuff, plenty of sound dampening, big old rubber bushing. going back together i was like where is the new one...searched the directoins a few times and was like f it, it dont have it...

oh and qa1 stuff for c/c plates as well. they are only 3 bolt but thats what they sell in their complete drag front end package so i figure they'll be ok for a season or few.

i aligned it thinking i may just be hitting or binding, it didnt change anything though besides make it drive good. so your car after coilovers is really loud too? like first bump you took a little scare to ya? i mean im already used to it but the first bump i hit i thought i broke somethin haha.

hal/qa1 threaded front struts, whatever comes in their kit. they are adjustable, adjusted all the way tight for now. and 130 pound 14 inch springs are on it. (this is only the front end, rear is still coil spring) and is setup for the track, i don't like cornering haha.

is the ride loud? i wasnt aware it would be loud, and it is. any movement, as in dip even, to bump, to whatever in the road, is a thump. at first it was scary. i mean i haevnt driven the car more than a couple blocks, its barely running now waiting to be retuned, but i did the suspension...

i have that setup exactly. all i run is water pump and alternator. i left my alternator down where it is supposed to be on a vortech bracket, at the bottom. then i have a turnbuckle connecting it to a supporting spacer/big bolt we made where the air pump should bolt in. it works fine...

im running stock rods and crank at over 500 hp to the wheels...i'm ok. i know another dude running very high rpm's with stock rods as well. high as in like 8-9 k or so...maybe not the best thing in the world but its workin for us for the time being.
