    Front Brake Creaks! (Not squeaks)

Guys, My left front brake creaks! Not squeaks, but creaks like an old worn out wooden rocking chair! That’s the best description of the sound that I can provide. The car does not even have to be moving to check this. Just sit at idle in park and press the brakes on and off, and creak –...

    Plug Wires that Fit Right!?!

I've read a bunch of posts on plug wires and still have the same question: Does anybody make a set of plug wires for our cars that are pre-cut to the correct length for each wire and actually fit right using the factory wire looms? Thanks for any advice.

All, I’ve been chasing all the usual suspects trying to find the cause of the hanging idle my car started having a few months ago. I finally fixed it thanks to a hint from HISSIN50 that I found when I did a search and read a ton of posts on the subject. I replaced my IAC valve first...

What Sensor feeds the Temp Gauge on the Dash?

All, Where does the temperature gauge on the dash get its signal from? Does it get its signal from the Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor that feeds the coolant temp signal to the PCM computer, or does it get its signal from a different sensor somewhere else? Anybody know for sure?

    PINGING FIXED! Cost: 79 cents!

All, About two years ago I posted a big write-up about how replacing my ACT and ECT sensors fixed my hot weather related pinging in the 3K to 5K RPM range under 3/4 to full throttle. Well, two years later, my pinging was back! So, what, I say to myself, these sensors only last two years...

    Inner Fender/Wheel Well Liner Removal

OK, I'm trying again with a different subject line. There's got to be someone out there who has taken this apart on their car, particularly you supercharger guys. I've got to replace my EVR (EGR Valve Regulator). The bad news is that the EVR is INSIDE the right-front fender well. Has...

EGR Valve Regulator Replacement – Any Advice?

I got an EGR related trouble code (code 33 – EGR opening not detected) so I tested my EGR system this weekend and found out my EVR (EGR Valve Regulator) is bad. It’s not applying the right amount of vacuum to the EGR valve at the right time. The bad news is that the EVR is INSIDE the...

Guys, I had a new torque converter installed 2,000 miles ago by the dealer. (They also installed a new converter “hub” seal at the same time.) Now I’ve got transmission fluid literally pouring out of the rubber inspection plug on the bottom of the tranny right under the torque converter...

4 Cyl Engine + Auto: How good?

Sorry about the newbie 4 Cyl question... I'm a 5.0 guy. Looking at a '93 Mustang with 4 Cylinder engine and Auto transmission for a new teenage driver. How stout is this engine/drivetrain combo? Will it last a long time if cared for, or are there things I should know about, or check...

Getting the right Intake parts for a stock 94/95 GT

All, I noticed a number of posts lately where people have a hard time getting the correct intake system parts for a stock '94/'95 GT 5.0. As most of us know, our intakes were "borrowed" from the '93 Thunderbird 5.0 engines. The '93 and earlier Mustang GT 5.0 intakes were too tall to fit...

All, I'm sure this subject title will pull in a lot of viewers! I have been reading every post on pinging and its possible causes/fixes on this board and other Mustang forums for the past several months in an effort to stop my stock '95 GT from pinging. IT'S FIXED! THE PING IS GONE...
