I have found out that my engine was not level and the right side was lower that the left and was off by about 1/4". I shimmed up the right side motor mount a quarter of an inch and it now has clearance for my steering. It still comes close to hitting the starter, but that is only while turning...

I put in 5 qts. of oil and my dipstick reads low. It barely touches the stick. I then compared my measurements between the...

    Hi-Po Exhaust manifolds

Got the H-Pipe on. I mounted one side down tight and then had to pry the other pipe over to align it up and then tighten it down. Now I have a rubbing issue to deal with. Hi-Po Exhaust manifolds

Did Ford build different Hi-Po manifolds for the 289? I purchased a set used off of e-bay and installed them on my 66 Mustang 289 and the h-pipe I purchased from Mustangs Unlimited will not fit. I confirmed the h-pipe is for Hi-Po exhaust. I thought maybe my manifolds are for a different...

I am doing a conversion from a 4 speed to an AOD. I havent seen any trans. cooler lines available for this swap. Does anyone make the lines for purchase or do I need to make my own? If I make my own, is it better to start with the factory C-4 lines and then fabricate them? Thanks
