It hasn't on my car and it's been capped for over 5 years now. I've seen people pull the little tube out and put in tiny freeze plugs to block them as well. Next time I have mine off that's what i am going to do to clean up the engine more.

In some of the pictures I have seen they either stuck it in the elbow or down further on the intake. There's no room on my intake to put it in one of the cylinder runners like it was on the factory intake. I hate having to pull the intake back off to drill it there... I my shoot for the elbow...
