I don't need to go custom if I go with Mac's setup. I just hate being limited to one.
I love the fact that the 94-95 cars are unique. But I also hate trying to buy parts for them
That is my current set up.
I am in the process of building an all forged 408 with AFR 205's, ED Curtis cam, Trick Flow Intake, Kooks SS 1 7/8" to 3 1/2" collector, Kooks 3 1/2 x-pipe.
Thats why I need the bigger exhaust.
I want to buy a 3" exhaust for my car. Mac is the only one that list a 3" for our years. Other company's list that there 2 1/2" fit years 94-97. Some say 86-95. I am ok with Mac but it seems they now only make the one with the HTS tips. I would prefer the dura black or chrome tips.

I bought this MSD distributor used a couple years ago. I will soon be using it and I pulled the cap to check it and the rotor. They look ok but the reluctor(think that is what it is called) is really rusted. Can this be cleaned up or should it be replaced? If so can I buy one from ford or do I...
New email reply.
Guess i will be returning #5
If you would like to send the #5 tube back we will send out a new one. Other options of you don’t like the look. (I think it looks perfect) Either hit with scotch brite pad once then hit with little stainless polish it will look mint...
Here is the reply I received from Kooks. Not much satisfaction.
These are custom headers. Each header is made by hand one at a time so sometimes there is a difference in manufacturing process, but it still has the same function form and fit as in anything else that we make.
Thanks...
I think your bracket may be broken . Here is a pic of one off a car and the description
Attaches to the front of the chassis to absorb the impact during collision. Also helps provide the front bumper cover with shape and reinforcement.

Its not that the are overpriced, its that there are not a lot of options if you want larger swap headers specifically for 94/95's They are very nice except for the welded tube. Collectors are wellmade and fit perfect. Just the damn weld.
I just sent an email to kooks asking the reason. If some can be made without welds then they all should be. If it is an error on the jig, that should be their problem , not mine.
Mine are 351 swap headers also but tubes 1-4 on the drivers side are fine. someone on another forum told me to pour lime away on the weld and at least it will get rid of the discoloration.
I don't see why if they can make some without the weld, they can't make them all that way. For that kind...
Hey guys
Got my new stainless kooks the other day. I noticed that tube 5 (front passengers) has been cut and welded. At first I thought they must have to do that for some reason and I probably won't see it after install. Well the more I look at it, the more I dislike it. For almost $1000.00...
