HOLLEY 174 BLOWER BELT TENSIONER??? Make one?

All I can figure is to get one of those adjustabe Alt. brackets from summit or someplace. Then you could put the tension on the belt via the alternator. How's that blower work? I was thinking of getting one if I ever came up with a few grand for the ole stang. Is it made for a single carb or...

Plug Wire Dividers / Plug Wire Routing

I've got a billet aluminum bracket that runs down each valve cover to route the wires. Looks really nice :nice: But my engine bay is gutted, and I run a carb. So that type of system might not work for you EFI guys.

Anyone know how easy anyone can get at our engines?

I'm sure I can pop mine in under 6 seconds. In fact, it's the only way I open my hood since my hood release cable broke. I kinda like the fact that I can open my hood through the bumper. And nobody would really know how to do it unless they owned a stang.

do my times sound slow for my car?

I'm not sure about your times. I'm not really familiar with 1/8 mile times. But they don't sound too bad for what your cars got. I'd definately put the BBK's on. They're not the best header out there, but I got a noticable gain from them on my stang.

Water Pouring from my water pump!

Sounds like your water pump's bad. I believe that hole is called the "weep hole", I could be wrong though. But anyways, when the seals inside the pump wear out, coolant leaks out the hole. Happened on my 4 banger once.

    what transmissions will fit a 76 2.3L?

Nobody out there knows what transmissions fit these cars? Will an auto from a newer (fox body) stang bolt right up?

    what transmissions will fit a 76 2.3L?

My girlfriend just bought a 76 ghia. It's an automatic, so it just drags ass down the road until you're goin 60, then its got ok power up to 90. I keep tellin her to buy a header and maybe some weber side drafts (she doesnt wanna do a turbo swap), but i know that trannys robbing alot of power...

    BAD HEAD GASKET?

whoa! mid 80's Hondas! The ones I've worked on all had a ton of vacuum hoses, it's like there were 2 for everything they could control by vacuum. I'd get under the hood with the engine running and try to listen or feel for any vacuum leaks. Thats one of the main things with those cars when...

    BAD HEAD GASKET?

Do you have any unusual smoke coming out of the tailpipe? To me it sounds more like you've got a problem with a sensor than a blown headgasket. Does your check engine light come on? You might have a bad O2 sensor. The computer doesn't acknowledge the information coming from the oxygen sensor...

    carbed fuel problem

Ive got a summit racing high volume external pump. The kind summit sells with a complete fuel system kit. I think the regulator alone costs like $13 from summit. Should I just get a new regulator? Maybe an Aeromotive one? Thanks for the input guys. It's good to hear some opinions aside...

    carbed fuel problem

:notnice: I can see I'll get no help from here. Guess I'll just run a return line and see how it works.

    carbed fuel problem

who else out there has a fuel setup like mine. I've been told that every fuel system needs a return. I was gonna buy the Aeromotive fuel pump controller that adjusts voltage to the pump based on RPM. But I don't know if that would actually solve my problem.

    carbed fuel problem

I've got a summit racing electric pump and spring type regulator. My fuel pressure won't stay consistent. right now I've got the line from the pump running into the bottom of the regulator, and a line running into my carb from one of the side ports on the regulator. The other side outlet is...
