    FS: 67 Thermactor system

I will be yanking the thermacotr system off of my 67 289 this weekend and was wondering if anyone is interested. I have no idea what this would be worth but I am open to reasonable offers. It will be everything including the heads, the air pump is locked up but would be a good core. Thanks...

65-67 KH type disc brake parts

Well, I would be very interested to see how much it would be for new calipers (with pads, stainless pistons and crossovers), rotors, brackets, dust shields, hoses, bearings and seals. That's what I got. I know that to buy a rebuildable set of calipers will set you back almost as much as I had...

65-67 KH type disc brake parts

How much is too expensive for you ? I paid $750 for my package on Ebay, new everything. I think that is pretty reasonable. If you can do it as well and cheaper then great.

    Disk brake kits

Here's my vote. I just bought a kit off a guy on Ebay (chockostang is the seller's name). Alll he sells are brake and steering parts for Ford cars. It was for my 67 Cougar. It's a stock set-up he sells, he has them for 65-66 as well. You get new calipers, rotors, bearings, brackets etc. It is...

17" wheels and tires for sale

I have a set of 17 American Eagle (looks identical to TT II's) for sale with Yokohama tires. The tires are 235/45/17 and 245/45/17, rims have 4.5" BS and tires have about 10,000 miles on them. I can email pics if interested. I am looking to get about $1000 + shipping for them but am open to...

    Anyone try this setup?

Here is one of the threads about it: http://www.mercurycougar.net/forums/showthread.php?t=3969&page=4 and one other: http://www.mercurycougar.net/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=7867&highlight=power+steering+upgrade I think if you wanted you could get a machine shop to make this...

    Anyone try this setup?

I believe that this swap has been done before. There is a guy on mercurycougar.net that used this Toyota box IIRC. They used half of the Toyota and halfof the Ford pitman arm brazed together. He says it works really well FWIW

    Anyone try this setup?

I am curious as to where this ither forum is and what the fitment would be like. I would much rather go this route then a rack conversion myself. This is a way cheaper and I think will work better with the stock geometry.

    G-Machine 66 Stang, "THE CAR"

Couldn't agree more about that statement. As an engineer I produce some drawings myself. We use Inventor also. You can do some pretty cool stuff. It's cool to see the finished product of your work. Very rewarding, I also work in the mining biz. Potash in Saskatchewan to be exact, extra points...

Does no one install R&P without a kit?

Call to Fabricators, clutch pedal 68 69

I'm glad to see you found the part you wanted at the price you wanted to spend. Good luck with your T5 swap, if you have any questions I should be able to help as I am doing (redoing) mine right now. Later, Jason

    another 5.0 swap info..not EFI

Will you be keeping all of the EFI parts or will you be parting them out. I would be very interested in getting the entire set-up if possible. Thanks Jason

    EFI swap info

Well....... First off I am going to bump my own thread. Secondly thanks for all the info. I have also done searching.......and more searching on the net. I have managed to find enough info to either get started or get myself in really deep trouble (whichever comes first) I think I will...

    EFI swap info

So far this has been very informative and I HAVE done some searching but I do have yet another question. I will now have to source the parts for this conversion. I know that 89-93 mustangs have the 5.0HO with mass air but what other cars had this set-up, as I know trying to find a Mustang to...

    EFI swap info

Well.........I was going to be changing out the cam anyways and if I am going to be doing all this work at the same time would it not be easier to change out to a cam that the computer wil recognize. I also think I might use the stock 5.0 manifolds as they are already set up with the O2 sensor...

    EFI swap info

So......if I am reading this correctly, changing the timing to that of the 351 would do exactly what I was looking for, change the spark and fuel delivery to match it up correctly with what the EEC-IV is "thinking", it needs. I looked at the article on the mustangs plus swap and they even state...

    EFI swap info

Thanks for the link to the site, very informative. My plan is going to b e to use my existing 289, swap in a 351w cam, and use the 5.0 stuff for the fuel injection. Does this sound like it will work ? I will probably start collecting parts and asking more questions next fall as this will likely...
