Mike Davis ran his new Mustang in this past weekend's World Challenge race at Road America. Car had alot of the usual new car teething problems, but sure looked good. This car has replaced the Saleen SR351 he was running. I don't know anything about the engine though.

Is it true that the 2006 GT is one inch higher than the '05 GT? If so, what would be the reason and wouldn't this hurt the handling a bit? The 4 x 4 look is fine for a F150 but not for the Mustang.

I remember seeing the early pictures of the '05 Mustang having a nice looking cover over the intake plenum. It was silver with the running horse emblem on it. In all the pictures I see now, the cover is gone. Was this a prototype piece that didn't make it in to production?
