    some of my firneds were debating on how an external wastegate works.... if the waste gate spring on has a 6 psi spring then is that all the boost u can run .. if u are runnin a exteranlly wastegated turbo? someone explain how this works instead of us argueing between oursleves :damnit:

    yeah but the sad thing about the IhI is that it has a smaller exhuast ar. i mean just by looking at it its smaller and the Ihi has a smaller compressor wheel... IHI's dont last forever ive went through 2 just runnin 17.5 psi on them... the T3 i have isnt off of a svo or older t-bird it suposedly...

    87 TurboCoupe wont Idle

    ok my altentator went out so i replaced it .... and a couple hours after replacing it with the new one my car wont Idle .... the only way i can drive the car is to hold the gas down and clutch the **** out of it everywhere i go and as soon as the rpms drop below around 800-1k it just dies...
