    Thanks for the input. I almost bought a GTO before I found my Saleen. If I remember the IRS on those was a severly compromised design, almost not even an IRS but a dual swingarm. I'll have to go back to the specifics of it to remind myself.

    Is there any interest in an IRS for the S-197's? I have a 2004 Saleen and a 67 notchback so I'm usualy not on this side of the boards. I want to try to see if I can pitch the idea to my work if there is enough interest. It would use alot of 2003 cobra parts you could get at the auto part store...

    he hasn't done gears and mine use to have just the 2 barrel. There's a LOT of things i would have done different with it, but live and learn is all i can say :nice: The cam i think was comp cams the guy recomended to go with the intake.

    haha. nice. The R hood doesn't look good on a slaeen? I haven't seen the combo. Someone had it on a Roush and it was perfect. The Saleen Cobras kept the Cobra hood so it "fits" although it seemed a bit of a mismatch. It looks like the Cobra bumper comes up higher...

    ya I remember that. You should stick those pictures in the "I think these look better thread" That rear end looks so much nicer without a wing since it has the little ducktail built in. Those tailpipes need to go though.

    the new viper has C3 vette cue's all over it but I wouldn't call it retro. The original was inspired by cobra/cobra daytona coupe but not retro
