6'5" 260lbs here, no problem with my '05, I just have to lean the seat back some.

Yeah the one parking light stayed on for maybe half an hour, even with the battery disconnected...that makes no sense to me whatsoever. And during this time, the headlights and dash lights would not turn on at all (with the battery connected). When your high beams are stuck on, what do you do...

Well, after having the battery disconnected for awhile (30 minutes or so), everything is back to normal. What bugs me is not knowing what exactly caused it so I that I can take measures to keep it from happening again.

Just got back from a 2 hour drive in the 05 gt, when i got home the passenger side front parking light is stuck on, and the headlights won't come on. It was raining some, so there might be a leak there that i wasn't aware of (have had the car for 5 years, nothing like this has happened before)...

That is insane...where do you live? This had better not be a trend...sounds like a good way for some radar gun bearing residents to get beat up or shot...

+1. I got on online for about $15 that plugs into the cigarette lighter; is that what you have too? I bought it not expecting much but it really does work. I've found that leaving it plugged in overnight works best.

What about if you have a manual? Good question, spectre30075. I've been wondering this too, since every time CAI + tune gets mentioned, it seems to be in conjunction with an automatic tranny. Do the CAI + tune make as much difference with manuals as with automatics? Maybe somebody will...

Got an 05 GT vert here, ordered the Flows and had them installed at the Midas shop on Johnson Ferry Rd. in Marietta, very happy with the results.

Roush makes springs that'll drop it 1 inch, and I think that will do nicely with 255/50's. Thanks for the input everyone.

That's a cool idea but honestly I wouldn't want to go through the hassle of selling the stock wheels, lol, plus I like the idea of having the lighter 17's anyway.

Good suggestion McQueen..that never even occured to me. If the chart I found online is correct, the height of the stock tire is 27.18", and the height of a 255/50/17 is 27.04"..barely over a tenth of an inch difference, I can live with that. I'll probably still get some springs if I can find...

That's good advice..I think that is what I will do. I would really like to have the wider footprint of the 245's, but I don't want to spend an arm and leg buying all the crap to do it right. Also, I don't want to go with larger wheels.
