    hey everyone,
I recently replaced a faulty iac valve on my bullit. it ran fine for a couple of weeks. recently it started idling at 900 rpms where before it would idle at around 750 rpms. i took the iac vale back to the dealer and exchanged it. still is idling to high. i also changed the tps sensor and it didnt help. why would it suddenly be idling higher now? any input would be apreciated. thanks everyone.

Do you have a tuner on the car like a Predator that you can monitor your motor? It sounds like you definitely have a vacuum leak somewhere.

Make sure all your connections on your intake system are tight, etc. I think my Diablo, itself, made my car idle higher than normal.

Might be your TPS (throttle body position sensor). I have had to change mine a few times, but mine was idling at 2-3k. Hope this helps.

I'd agree. Sounds like a vacuum leak. Where did you get the new IAC? I know there are definite issues with aftermarket stuff. Is it making any noises at idle like a buzz or honking?
