01 Cobra and California Emissions

    My 01 Cobra was delivered new to Oregon state. Does it have the emissons equipment to be able to meet California emissions requirements? Do vehicles delivered new to adjacent states normally have CA emissions equipment?
    If not, what would be involved to convert it to meet CA emissions and what would the $$ costs be?

    As long as the stock smog stuff is intact, no worries. The CA system knows from the VIN what engine/controls you have.

    It will come into the state as a used vehicle.

    ya as long as it isnt modified you are fine. there really isnt a difference anymore between CA and Federal standards.
