As the title says, I'm trying to swap in an aftermarket HU into my 01 Mach 460 car. I have the harness and trim ring from crutchfield and have hooked everything up according to the sticky instructions on this forum. The speakers work, but I get a horrible reverberation from the subs. The tweeters work fine, and the subs are receiving the signal.
My HU is a kenwood KDC-645U. It has 2 regular pre-outs and a sub pre-out with a low pass filter. I have hooked it up to the sub pre-outs and the regular pre-outs with the same results.
Once this reverberation starts I need to detach the faceplate to make it stop. Any help solving this would be greatly appreciated so I can ditch the CD-6 and have Sirius and iPod.
