Just curious if anyone has compared stock dyno charts to the names of the builders of the engines? (what guys make the best motors?) If not, I encourage you to post stock dyno numbers with the names on your valve cover.

My motor was assembled by doctors! I can't even read their damn signatures!!!! I highly doubt there would be any difference soley based on the team that built your motor. They are all assembled in the same manner, with the same parts, and torqued to the same values.

I don't.... What special little trick could one pair of engine builders do that the others didn't? Maybe slip in a different set of cams when nobody was looking?

The smart ones pick the best parts out of the bins.(i.e. the ones with the same tolerance differences.) My uncle had his Lightning's motor replaced because they put it together with the biggest tolerance bore and smallest tolerance piston. That thing sounded like a diesel when he cranked it up.

Lightning motors are not hand built, a SVT tech installs the blower and such but the long block is from a F-150
