Greetings all, I recently read an article in 5.0 about putting 17x10 pony rims with 315 /35/17 on thier 86 project car, I would like to put a set of deep 17 in bullet rims on my 89 (already have 5 lug convert) with a 295/40/17 (little more room than the 315) but they are 10.5 wide. I know the fender will need to be rolled and the inner wheel well "massaged" to provide clearance, but will that extra .5 of an inch scrap the project?
