180 degree thermostat worth it?

I have seen quite a few members with the 180 degree temp thermostat. What exactly does this do for you?

I heard it will drop the temperature some but you will not get the full affect until you get the fan to come on sooner. It can't hurt, and it only costs a few bucks.

Will do! I tend to get her up in the K range with some frequency. I live in a rual area and commute to work.
