I'm having troubles with the rear "drum Brakes" No matter what I do they heat up. I tried to adjust them (manually) way down like half a pedal and adjuste pedal too (in case there was not enough free play. Still heats up. Someone mentioned the Emergency brake. Any other ideas out there? I had to R & R rear brake rubber line that splits off to both sides and bled them MANY times and seems clear and no bubbles...

I moved you to classic talk .
Do you have the return spring attached at the transmission mount and E brake bracket ? If not the cables are not releasing completely .Check the cables to see if they are sticking .
