I purchased a 1967 Mustang this past summer. It has the inline 6 in it.
The starter was out of the vehicle when I purchased. Today I wanted it to put it back in and see if it would turn the engine over (i was able to turn the engine over by hand).
But I noticed a ground cable on the firewall that looks like it gets bolted onto the starter - is that right? I mean there is only one bolt on the starter - for power from the solenoid. But I wasn't sure if that ground cable was placed between the starter and where it gets bolted to the housing.
