Recent repairs:
- water pump
- thermostat
- belt
- ignition switch
- fuel filter
- alternator, battery
- Goodyear Eagle GT tires (about 3800 miles on tires)
- second owner (female), owned since 2002
- no rust: car has only lived in Southern California and Central Texas (no snow)
- engine is strong, starts, runs, and idles great
- Texas registration good until Nov 2014, inspection good until Jan 2015
- cold AC, warm heat
- power windows and mirrors work fine
- headlamps recently replaced with OEM parts (clear and bright!)
- replaced hydraulics and weatherstripping on hatch
- cruise control works (although I've not tried it recently)
- includes weather-proof cover
- grey leather interior
- deep emerald green
- 16" pony wheels
- comes with original keys on dealer keyring and owner's manual
- original stereo with cassette tape player (radio works, can't test tape player)
- leaks oil, not too bad
- needs paint
- minor dent on rear quarter panel, could probably be popped out
- power door locks don't work (actuator bad?)
- front seats have some tears, not terrible considering mileage and age of car
I'm sad to sell this car, it was my daily driver for many years and I still love it. But I have a 2011 Mustang now, and I don't have the means or skills to maintain and restore this car. It's all original, so it's ready for your restoration or mods, or just have fun driving it as is.
