2.3 + C4 Automatic?

    I think the 2.0 in the mid-late 70's had a C4 automatic and the proper bell for the tranny pattern. But I'm trying to ascertain if this is possible and if so what parts are needed and what vehicles are out there that I can look to in order to find any parts I need.

    I have an idea for a street rod that would run either a 87-88 Turbo Coupe engine with a C4 (if posssible) or a built up N/A. I rather like the Turbo Coupe/Merkur engine idea.

    You have to have the proper bellhousing. For a short run Pintos had them, I had one...I was going to convert the stang to a C-4. But I sold it on eBay. They go for about $100 on average, so keep an eye out...

    I got mine from 351wcoupe, who is one of the moderators on this forum...he might have another to sell...
