2.3t mustang wont rev over 2300rpm & is blowing black smoke
ok 1 day i waqs driving my car around and i shut it off i let a friend drive it, so he stared it up and reved it a little hard like real fast, it dont think it hit the red line, but as soon as he did, it started to block blackis blue smoke but mostly black and smells like gas not oil, it wont rev over 2300 rpm like it has a rev limiter or a 2 step, but it dont has any of those. i was told to check timing, then i was told my turbo is blown up well i check it to day amd the turbo has a little play but not much, but there is some chip marks on the turbo blade its self, i was told maby the distribator, ect, and then i was told a rip in my intercooler cupler, well i checked that and still no, i am still running the stock top mount intercooler, i have not really tried any of those but i wanted to ask on here first and maby sone one might no the awnsers
