Ya its true that it does probally hurt me a the strip, but these rims are lighter than smaller sizes, 3 piece aluminum!!! There is far less rubber but more rim. Alumium is way lighter than rubber.
Also, With the 305's in the back I have no problem hooking up, I was suprised. But I dont have a charger yet, As soon as I do I will be in trouble.
20's will kick the 'Kiss Me''Kiss Me''Kiss Me''Kiss Me' out of any 17 - 18 rim in cornering, Made the car handle so much more precise. I think most have the reason why people go with 15's on the strip wrong, It not about wreight difference, its about sidewall, the bigger the sidewall the more flex in tire and this will achieve a better hookup.
There is a reason why most race cars run big rims on the track though. Ididnt buy them for this purpose tough, I just like the look and the responsiveness.
