hi guys, i have a 2004 Roush Stage 1 Mustang automatic with a V6 and I was thinking about putting in a V8 crate engine with around 370HP. I have not bought the engine yet(do you know of a good web site to look at?) Anyway I was wondering if i have to put in a better transmission (i think i have the T-5) and/or a better rear end. Also ive herd that there are a lot of other parts that i am going to need that do not come with the crate engine... is this true? if so what parts? Anything else you know about this swap would be helpful. THANKS

Search the forums. Yes, you can do the swap, but it is neither cheap nor easy (the answers to your other questions are yes and yes). It is not usually cost effective- most people who look at it end up just buying a V8 car.
