The cats reduce the emissions very little, but are required by the laws that our friendly Democrats instated when Carter was in office. The main thing that cats do on current cars (which have 3-stage cats) is to help with NOx reduction. Basically, cars could pass emissions test w/o them, but they are required. Anyway, I'll step off the soapbox now.
I put my UPR x-pipe on today and it was a great fit. I am suprised at how much louder it is. I couldn't stand it any louder.
