Sticker means nothing when the markups will put it out of range for 90% of us.

After doing some research - looks like it will be over 100k!

I think it's going to be around 60-70k including mark up by the dealer. It sure is a beauty:nice:

The KR hood will NOT be available to buy because Shelby Auto. wants to keep it exclusive to the car. They do have the SS hood though thats almost identical for about $1100 and I think it looks fantastic. The edges on the scoops are more sharp and the vents on top are bigger and seperate peices.

A local dealer here in washington is going to get 3 GT500 KR's and they are asking 150K each, and have pre-sold one for that price. Ouch.....

D***, I was way off saying it will go for 60K. Must have been drinking too much:D Are you going to go check it out once it's at the dealership?

I know they're not comparable in style or genre (to head that one off at the pass)but this is going to make the KR look a bit limp with 620hp under the hood especially if it ends up costing less:

I hear ya on the comparo front:rlaugh: The rough estimates I've seen the past week for the '09 ZR1 are $100K. Except for the clear hood window:shrug: I absolutely love that car! So now all three of the big boys have a 600+ HP production car...500KR, Viper SRT10 and ZR1:eek: The KR will definitely have its work cut out for it...

No it won't. You are trying to compare 2-seat sportscars to a 4-seat coupe. There is no way a GT500KR at any price can compete with those cars, stock, at any price.

Is it still going to weigh two tons? Even still :jaw:

The better question is what will the dealer markup be rather than what will the sticker price be. The 150k mentioned before is ridiculous! I could not imagine paying that much for a mustang.

You must be a IDIOT to listen to any dealer?????
I would never believe the dealer,I am sure he will not get what he says.
Most will talk since NONE are on the lot...................My friend bought a Z06 last year and it cost him with Taxes around the $85,000 mark, and that was with a $5000 markup.................
