Good to see the rear looks more like the current one. The rear of the concept car is HIDDIOUS! Just the fact that it was an Italian designer who designed it would be enough to turn-off alot of the american muscle purists. Very interesting find
I think it looks terrible. I will never buy a Mustang newer than 04....Ford is becoming a disgrace to the Mustang.
Wow, I didn't know that such hostility towards the 05+ Mustangs was present. IMHO the new mustangs look pretty darn good.
I dunno guys, the new mustang (05 and up) has really turned alot around for the mustang....there's not many people I know that don't like the old school styling of this generation Sales have increased, most every problem ever encountered by a pre-05 mustang have been solved (except for the stupid ride height issue), and the aftermarket has exploded for this car, even some Die hard chevy aftermarket companies.... Hell, alot of Chevy and Dodge guys jumped the mustang bandwagon when the new one was first unveiled Myself, personally, I'll never drop my 95, the new mustangs are just too common around these parts, but the amount of people that scooped these up....well...they can't all be wrong Cudo's to the 05 to 09 Mustang, god knows how it'll go after this one is released...those foglights in the grill seem like they're way too big to fit inside the concept's grill opening, so I have a feeling ford might have mutilated it a bit
i must say that i am a big fan of the s197, however not a fan of that italian concept. if some features make their way into the 09, i don't know how i feel about it until i see a final product. for now, an s197 is still definately in my future.
If they come out of the factory looking like that everyone will be getting the Camaro. Not a fan. Looks too much like a Mangusta. Or I guess it also looks like Pavoratti sat on the front end of a 05-07 Mustang crunched the hoodline down and they called it art. I call it BS! -Fawcett

Yeah, that orange mustang is just a concept by the Italians. That is NOT what the 09 mustang is going to look like. Ya'all are getting hot and bothered just like when you thought there was going to be a 4 door mustang...that's not gonna happen. Simma down. Ford's not gonna make their flagship car look like Italian trash!
there are people that would say the sn-95 is a disgrace compared 1960's models.. im not impressed by the 99-04 or the 2005-2007 either, but there seems to be plenty people lining up to purchase them.
I don't understand why. The inside of those things is disgusting. Whoever designed the interior on them should be shot.
yea not a huge fan of the retro interior, I like the seats though. it seems like some of the newer cars are heading towards the retro look on the inside.. the sub 30k ones anyway.. I saw a japanese car the other day I dont know the name because it looked like a grocery getter but I could not help but notice the interior resembled the sn197.
I give up on this stuff. I didn't especially like the S197's when they came out (I pulled up next to a V6 and was lookin up at it's windows It was apparent that the girl had put on some pounds and gerth - not my thing). But I've seen a few GT's locally that are decked to the 9's and they look fabulous IMHO. I've seen some other pics of the current rendition of the '09 version and it did look better to me (than what is in that link). In general, the cars won't appeal to me until they are in a price range I can afford or justify. They do tend to grow on us too.
looks exactly like the 05.... i can see the huge fogs in the grill and everything...?? i also would never buy a 05+ they are terrible looking and the interiors are so teny...i sat in one at the car show and i felt all cramped in the driver seat totally put back....def nothing im interested in ...im loosing interest in the mustangs anymore.....they look like total pooo. and our 94-95 cars are always refered to as the outcasts...but i like the bodys and wouldn't buy one with out pushrods lol
