I like the new Camaro way more than any other Camaro after the first Gen. I hate the 3rd, 4th, gens, but the new one finally touched on the styling of the original, not the "Camaro" look of the 70's and on that we got used to seeing.
I gotta say, I was very interested in picking one up, but seeing it in person was a huge dealbreaker. It is nice, but a little too cartoon-y/cheesy (very slightly "cheesy") for my tastes. The biggest deal breaker though was the PUTRID INTERIOR, wow, what a cheap piece of crap. Very clausterphobic too, windows are overboard on the narrowness, and the buttons and overall design is just really childish and amateur IMO.
I will say, I still admire a nice and well equipped example, as they are hot cars, but the look isn't class and timeless enough for my tastes, I think it might look kind of boring a little fast, as very aggressive designs tend have that happen to them. Also, they could be a little leaner, and less angular IMO.
However, again, the drive-train and exterior aren't my beefs with the car really, it's the nasty interior. I think if I was gonna choose between the two, I'd have to go Mustang, mainly due to the interior, and better Crash Test results so far.
