jim here. 1st things 1st, this engine is not a hipo. can you guys give me a rough horse power estimate on my 1965 289 engine. it has a edelbrock rpm intake, 750 holley, msd distributor, long tube headers, comp cam extreme energy cam, 69 351 windsor c9 heads with 194 intake valves, heads are ported and polished and have been milled down to 56cc combustion chambers. tci c4 with a 2200-2500 stall converter. what do you guys think? thanks, jim.

You didn't mention what XE cam you have, but I'd say it likely makes 275-325 ponies, assuming it's got the carb and timing dialed in.

I think your pretty close, as I would have estimated it at about 300.
