3.90's or 3.73's Which one

I like the FMS gear brand, with your stock engine, the 3.73's would work great. I liked them 'stock' and h/c/i...

Gear Calculator:

Reference with T5 transmission/stock tire size/16in. wheel, in 5th gear cruising rpm at 70mph (Interstate Speed):

2.73:1 - 1696 RPM
3.08:1 - 1914 RPM
3.27:1 - 2032 RPM
3.55:1 - 2206 RPM
3.73:1 - 2318 RPM
3.90:1 - 2423 RPM
4.10:1 - 2548 RPM
4.30:1 - 2672 RPM
4.56:1 - 2834 RPM

When my car was a daily driver, I would not have wanted any higher revs than what the 3.73's did for me...I hated the interstate, just keep up with traffic I was hitting 2,700 rpm...half of what my car can rev too:)

i use 4.30's and i run nitrous and i want to go up to a 4.56 the car can definitlly handle more gear.... 3.73's are horribly small i am terrible dissapointed in them ...but my car had 3.27's stock so it was so little of a change i barley noticed it like a 3.73 compared to a 3.90
