lots and lots and loooooottttsss of fine tuning with my tuner...not the handheld, the person....it's all in the air fuel at idle.. 5.0droptop, fir about the 1st 3 days of loading a new tune my car has a tad bit of occasional idle surge...i dont remember hearing it in the vids tho, but then it goes away and it lopes how it should...so far im liking the way its idling right now...ive never had it loping so hard.. thanks guys! i have a few good things going on with the car so ill be starting a progress thread here pretty soon
Haha...I wish I could have sold it to you but it took a lot of tuning to finally get it right...now I can finally focus on other things on the car....and I actually like it now lol
um sorry but as a joke i unhooked the pcv line from the throttle body on my brothers 00gt and sounded just like that, hmm maybe im wrong tho. but if you call that sexy then your blind. i aint never heard cams surge like that unless theres a blower i mean a big one, without a tune. but im callin BS unless i see proof.
@fast97gt I know what u mean with the Pcv pulled off....which mine is....its vented with a filter...and yes, it did lope harder after that....I can upload a vid of it a few weeks ago I took of it loping hardish so you can compare the old lope to the new? Im guessing to prove the lope I need to take another vid with cams loping and show that the Pcv filter is on there and all vacuum lines are how they should be im not being an ass about it just throng to figure out what u want me to do to prove it... @BurningRubber, im shocked we got it to idle like this as well....we've been working a long time at it...I've seen another car with the same cams that loped a little harder than mine does.. it was a video and the car was idling then drove and came back to idle...sounded damn good... This lope may not be possible with Pcv system hooked up and with the egr...both those being deleted did aid in the sound of the lope

And yes I could really care less what anyone on the internet thinks...but if someone wants to call me out then that is their option an I will gladly prove to that person what was being called out...I really don't mind since im not one of those douchebag kind of people that goes on the internet and makes dumb claims to have a bigger e penis... However, having to make this vid showing my engine bay and everything hooked up spoiled the surprise of the new thread im going to be making about engine bay clean up and wire tuck

i dont think my car idles any different than ryans i was just excited about finally getting the hitechs to lope since they barely ever did..My tuner is pretty good...he's very meticulous and wont let a car leave without it being perfect...im sure he could do your car just fine...he just finished a 2011 with a hellion kit and it made 600/600.. However, when it comes to tuning a turbo car he WILL take a long time...he took 2 days on the 2011...but he only charged for a few hours.. Thing is, you know where i work and i have access to him 24/7 so that is really the reasoning i was able to get the tune dead nuts perfect and to actually work with the idle. If i didnt work with him then my lope would still be barely audible
