Hello everyone,
Its finally that time to build a motor and I have a base idea of what I want and could use the veterans advice around here to fill in the blanks. I want to build a supercharged 306. I figured starting with an end goal, you pick the parts to meet that goal. Well the goal is to have fun on the stock block and get some life out of it. The goal is somewhere between 400-440 rwhp and spinning it to 6-6200.
I've been thinking about the trick flow FAC 190 cc heads, with a custom cam and matching valve train and an intake to match accordingly. A vortech trim which I've narrowed down but not completely certain to the V2-SCi trim or the V3-SCi trim, differences being discharge exit, the silent operation, internal lubrication of the V3 and vortech claiming the impeller efficiency of the V3 trim is slightly better.
Anywho, I'd appreciate any help, advice or opinions.
