31 spline

so if i get the 31 spline with the 8.8 rear end, do i need any modifications?

If you get 31 spline axles you need a 31 spline carrier aswell. Then you will need to set your gears up from your 28 pline carrier onto your new 31 spline carrier. It would be easier to get a set of 28 spline axles from moser or strange or whoever and install them into your already existing 28 spline carrier.
