This winter i want to pull the motor and have it diped and bored etc. Since im on a VERY tight budget, is there pistons or rods or something that i can use from a different vehicle to save some money? I know i need a different crank, but would say 351 pistons work with this setup? I dont want to spend 1200+ dollars on a stroker kit, so im trying to pinch where ever i can. There will be now power adders in anytime in the future as i wont be getting rich anytime soon. So im just looking for some NA power for later this winter. Thanx

You'll have $3-5000 ( or more ;)) in a 347 longblock easily.

You could buy parts one at a time or just find an Eagle or Scat kit around $1000. Those kits are a great deal, they come with all bearings, rings, pistons, rods, and the crank. You supply the balancer, flywheel and block.
