if I were going to steal a 351 windsor engine out of another vehicle what year and model would be the best to take it from...I guess the better question is where can I get the most powerful, most effiecient, and most reliable 351 windsor engine?....and about how much would this crate engine cost?...sorry if any of this sounds ignorant but that is just what I am about this engine...essentially ignorant...any info is appreciated...

For brute strength, you want a block casted anywhere between 1969 and (either) 1973 or 1974.

I wouldn't use a rotating assembly from those years either without having it checked first.

A 95 Cobra R, without a doubt. Good luck finding one though.

Tons of vehicles had the 351W. I think the early ford lightnings had them as well, but the heads were gt-40p's

Anyone know what heads are on the 95 Cobra R, and what else had them?
