Im currently looking into buying a mustang gt vert 35th edition. 43k miles, silver, with black top, and the silver and black interior.

I wanted to know if if there was sometihng I should look for in the vin to prove that its a 35th anniversary edition.

Well, most people won't fake a 35th. The two-tone interior is a dead giveaway(door panels and all). There is also a tag behind the driver's side headlight on the radiator support. It will state "35th". Other than that and the other distinguishing features of a true "Limited Edition" such as hood scoop/unique rockers/wheels/etc. There easy to tell from a faked one. But, nothing in the VIN is coded as "35th" anything. But, neither does the BULLITT.
