I know that this has been posted before but I need some good info on converting from a 2g to 3g alternator on my 92 GT. My 140 is a reworked 2g that's already going out on me and I don't think it's working much better than stock since I have stock wiring. I've got the 4AWG cable. I have a 150 amp circuit breaker. Will this do or should I go with the fuse link? Thanks for any extra info. I just wanted to make sure I do this right..................

I'm using a 150 amp mega fuse. From my experience a circuit breaker is less reliable under the hood than a fuse. On a very hot days combined with engine heat the breaker would trip or just "halfway" blow and give a poor connection.
