4.6 Timing Help

i recently got new heads on my car and got the timing done every ting line up fine but when i crank it over by hand noting hits but theres a point were it build a little tension on the crank not realy alot but some .. and the pasenger side tensioner compreses a lil bit wich causes the chain to get some slack .. is this normal .. will the tensioner build more presure onces ther is oil going true there or is something .wrong .. the tentioner is new and it also did it with the old tensioner i both the new one cause i thought the old one was bad but its the same and it only happens in the pasenger side ..

Its the tensioner not having any hydraulic pressure. Mine did the same thing. If you have the motor on a stand and the oil pan off, flip the motor over, pour some oil down the pick up and it wont do that anymore. It will be fine once you have oil pressure. Be sure to prime the pump before you just let it fire up.
