I purchased and assembly off of ebay. How do I know if it is the right one or not? I am converting my 66 mustang from auto to manual with manual brakes, manual linkages, etc. Nothing is power.

Is there a difference between 66 pedal assemblies? Does anyone have pictures?

Thanks for your time.:SNSign:

sorry for not being clear. are there different pedal assemblies for the 66 mustang? does it matter whether you have power brakes or not? will a pedal assembly from a 67 work for 66? i have absolutely no idea if what this guy sold me is actually a 66 mustang clutch pedal assembly. thanks for your time.

You could get power brakes in 66, just not power disc brakes. Check your new brake pedal against the one you have for the auto. It is the same pedal, just the metal part under the pad is different. Many people "convert" their auto brake pedal with a hacksaw or whizzwheel, it's no big deal. If it looks the same, chances are the clutch pedal is the right one also. There is no difference in a power or non power brake pedal in 65-66.
