67' Wheel Flares - Clearance question

    Hello, I am working on a 67' fastback restomod - Part Shelby/Part Eleanor. I really would like to use some new Shelby wheels that are 9 inches wide. I was wondering if anyone could tell me if I would have clearance issues if I put some fiberglass Eleanor wheel flares on the car.

    I think that for the most part wheel well flares do not look good on classic Stangs. I wouldn't do it. I'm thinking that later on, you will wish you hadn't done it.
