my buddy 2 months ago told me if i wanted his mass air harness that he pulled from his 91 he would let it go for a decent price..now i dont know what there worth.... ive had it since then sitting in my room and we havent decided on a price...(were slow at work) haha

    its from a 91
has a sct chip that was tuned for a H/C/I 306 so it would be pulled and sat of to the side for a bit as it would run like ****(if at all) with it in...

he was thinking like $150.00 for it...so whats fair? that sound fair?

    compare to ebay prices.

id plan on using the chip...just not now...im sure with a good tuner it could be tunned in stock form to max out air to fuel to pick up a little bit but i dont think it would be worth it right now...the chip would just get sat of to the side...or...wonder how much a used SCT chip gose for....

    its tuned for...

    TWS heads
    TFS1 cam
    tf upper/ lower
    30lb injectors
    75mm maf
    75mm tb...

that was his only mods...oh has a bbk fender well intake as well....mabey i can find someone with that set up to sell to!...

I think you want to stay away from the '91 stuff. Not sure if it was the computer, harness, or both, but some of that stuff was totally unique to the '91's. None of the other years are like that. All I know is that you'll run into trouble on some end of it if you try running that stuff.......... do some research and ask around though.

Buy a computer, a connector and a spool of wire. you have to put 2 pins into the large connector to the comp and than splice the power and ground wires into the harness.

91 stuff is completely unique to 91. there were some changes made in 91 that didnt carry over to the 92-93 years.

If the idea of moving & soldering wires scares you, here's a list of compatible Mass Air wiring harnesses.
    Copied From bbunt302

Just for reference, here's a list of all the compatible years:

89 harness should work for 86-89 as long as you're using mass air.
90 harness will only work in a 90. (B/c of air bags and dual dash connectors)
91 through early 92 harnesses should be compatible (single dash connector, fuel pump relay under driver's seat)
Late 92 through 93 harnesses should be compatible (single dash connector, fuel pump relay under the hood)

Computers from 89-92 are all the same. Look for the A9L sticker on the back cover for a 5 speed that matches your requirements. Example: E9ZF 12A650 AA" with the A9L code.
