hey all this is my first post. Just trying to help a buddy. I was supposed to replace his transmission (AODE) yesterday after work but his uncle was able to get to it earlier than I. He has been having a problem with it ever since though.
It will start and idle in park, revers and neutral but does in any forward gear. I had to adjust the range sensor as it wouldn't start in neutral. It now does but I don't think the lines are lined up. It's hard to see.
Original seller sold him the AODE with shift kit installed and a torque converter. It is used.
I'm stumped and do not understand why only forward gears. I'm hoping you guys may have an idea
