95 cobra has what output shaft drive gear?

Mine looked like a faded yellow. and appeared to look exactly the same as the brand new 7tooth one. Im thinking it was a waiste of time to replace it? because either its a white gear which i didn't know existed...or its a faded yellow 7 tooth one which was a waste of time specially since were having a problem putting it back together, but yea whats the truth because i researched and people said their was no speedo tooth correction to use for 3.73s , but i believe they also were GT owners, but i would think that the output shaft drive gears would be the same

if i remeber correctly the 8 tooth can be green or yellow and the only way to tell is count the grooves. to get the speedo 100% accurate with 373's you need a 7 tooth drive gear and a 21 tooth speedo gear.

the gears seem to be the same i took pics and plan to post them later after i get my car working again. And my car was bone stock, im not the orignal owner but my car was never touched by previous owner everything is all original. Dont GT 5speeds come with 3.08s also?
