a real collector's item, especially the #1 motor. that makes it extremely rare i added it to my watch list i looked into buying one, but i realized that for the money, the performance wasn't there you can build a MUCH better engine for what it would cost to buy one of those
Ive seen that on ebay before, the reserve was set around $7,000. Im so glad I have 1 of those 255 under my hood
yeah but you can never say its a Cobra R motor either. Its ok I hate you to The 95 R motors were built in canada, it never left there. Why is it fishy b/c he only has 10 feedbacks?
So ... someone is going to buy and egine that prolly dont run and is seized up...for use as...a HUGE aZ paper weight er something? I dont have enught $$ laying around for that. "yeah but you can never say its a Cobra R motor either." yeah but he can slap a TYPE "R" sticker on the trunklid and that will make the car faster and brake better!!!! Yes, I had to say that again today!!!
5.0/302 and 351 Windsors are all in the same engine family and were built in Windsor, Canada. That's where they got the name. Any guesses where the 351 Clevelands were made?
How were those things made anyways? Were they just made of stock 351 internals and regular GT40 heads, or were there any other goodies packed into those things?
If I had the money laying around collecting dust, I'd get it and put it on a stand in my living room.
Looks like it MAY come with the stand that it's been on for the last 12 years. You could prolly get them to "throw it in", along with the spec chart.
Agreed It would be a nice piece. If I had the money it would be myne I would put it on a table in my room.
