96 cobra trans boom, 01 gt trans ok?

    My trans went boom and I found a 01 Gt trans on the cheap.

    Will it bolt right up, or do I have to change the bell housing?

    It will bolt up. 96-98 Cobra's use a speedo cable, and 99-04's use an electronic speedo. You'll have to change up some stuff regaurding that but it will work.

    96-98 Cobras shouldn't have a cable. There should be a gear driven speed sensor though.
