....and I didn't even get to see it. I was driving down to my first duty station, Moody AFB, and I was hauling my motorcycle by trailer using my aunt's Trailblazer, and my friend was driving the 'stang. It hit 100k around the time we got to Atlanta, and I missed it...

I'm not sure how I feel about it. I'm depressed because my car's getting old, but at the same time, it's still kind of low mileage for its age.

Dude 100k aint nothin' for our cars if taken care of. I'm at 936xx right now. I just changed the oil in her yesterday. I'm hopping to get a DD before i get to 100k.

I take extremely good care of my car. I know 100k isn't that high, it's just sad seeing it go over 100k for some reason.

That's still young. My 97 is about to touch 165k miles and still runs great. That's seriously not a lot of miles for a 4.6. I regularly see police cars and taxis at the junk yard with 400k miles.

Just keep up on the maintance and you'll be fine. New struts and shocks can help the ride to feel like new and regular fluid changes will keep the engine and transmission happy.
