I'm stuck! Here's my dilemma. Yesterday when I went to my car after work, I started my car, and well... I was stuck. After trying for 5-10 minutes. Nothing. However, I lifted my e-brake, and put it back down and was able to finally shift out. This morning, same thing. My dad worked with me for about 20 minutes and we forced the car out of park, but when I got to school today I had to put it back in park so I could take my keys. Any ideas? I'm trying to put money away for college so I'd rather fix it myself that pay big money to get it fixed.
brakelight swith or brakelight switch fuse better also hope u didn't damage the trans forcing it out of park
Did you try turning the wheel at the same time? It could be the steering wheel / shifter lock hanging up.
