I HAVE A 1999 COBRA. I AM HAVING THE ENGINE REBUILT, WITH NEW FORGED RODS AND PISTONS ETC. JUST WONDERING IF I SHOULD HAVE THE HEADS PORTED AND POLISHED WHILE THE ENGINE IS OUT OF THE CAR? IS THIS WORTH THE EXTRA MONEY THAT IT WILL COST? WILL IT MAKE GOOD HP GAINS?

I would go ahead and do it. However, without working your intake and adding more radical cams at the same time, you probably won't see much. IMHO the heads are probably not your choke point now. Just an opinion, no numbers to back it up.

Yeah i agree. If you are going to port the heads, get cams too. Only then will you really feel and see the difference. Stage 2 porting with stage 2 cams...forged internals...yeeeeaaah buddy! =)

What are your plans for the car? Power adder or N/A?
