Might be able to get some 99 seats. Will they bolt right into my fox? What is required? The seat track from the 99?

try a search on this one homie

btw, ahve you ever sat in them? my dad has a '00 GT and i personally think they kinda suck. i mean, stock foxes suck too, and usually have a few more years of beerfarts in them, but still, if youre going to do the work, get some cobra seats or aftermarket!

I liked mine, they sat higher, which worked for me, but were more comfortable and better looking than the stockers!

They are a bolt- in. For bigger guys or those with a full cage they suck in a fox.

I had some charcol leather seats from a 2000 I think. They sat too high. My head rubbed on the ceiling. I've said this in so many threads now, but I don't like the thought of someone buying seats like I did and not being able to use them.

I have the front and rear seats in my Hatch. I like them. Well worth it to me. I loved them in my '03 GT so i had to have them in my 5.0

yea, cool. i dont see how they can be any worse than my stock 5.0 seats. if the guy ever gets back to me ill get em.

arent the back seats from those cars smaller than in a fox

The backseat will fit, it just takes a little bit of work to make them fit.

The fronts dont look or feel all that great to me either, and sitting higher in a Fox isnt an option for me.

I'd rather have the SN95 backseat and get aftermarket or seats out of a Japanese sports/sporty car, sadly a lot of those cars have nice sporty looking, feeling seats.

eh the guy already sold the seats. oh well. idk ill have to think about getting seats some more. ive seen some nice aftermarket seats, but they are a bit pricey for me at the moment. i might hold off for a while and just live with my stockers. id rather spend money on other mods anyway.

ive heard the seats from a 300zx fit in a fox, anyone have experience with those?

btw Mustang5L5 those seats look pretty good in your car

I almost got a set of 300ZX seats, but my engine went south and I had to spend the money elsewhere.

do seats from any 300zx fit or only from certain years? i dont recall what the seats look like in them, but there is a shop right down the road from my parents place that specializes in z cars, they might have some seats for sale.

They bolt right in. They sit up higher. I had them in Hack Job, but didn't notice they sat higher, because I also had the 99+ titlt steering column in there.

The fronts bolt right in. The rears are narrower in a coupe but I think in a hatch they would fit good. I put seats from a Mach in mine and they are comfy. Machs, Bullitts, or Cobra seats would be the only ones I'd use though since they have the side supports.

I remember you putting the newer interior in Hack Job however I've installed the rear seats out of a Mach and they are quite a bit narrower in my 92 coupe. How did you overcome this problem?

I used the bottom of the back seat from the 99-04 Mustang.

I had the stock notchback backrest recovered in 2001 GT vinal and pattern to match. Leather was a rip off and NO Mustang came with leather back seats from 99-04 anywyas. The last year for leather rear seats was 1998.

Thats true, and it sucks because you can blatently tell the difference between the leather and the vinyl. Leave it to Ford to be cheap!!!

94-98 rear seats a MUCH nicer.

Friend of mine has a 97 cobra with 30K miles he wants to ditch the seals out of. I might pick the fronts up and then go look for a matching leather black 94-98 seat. Sucks i gotta redo it again, but don't think i'll have a prob selling my current seats

(i'm not yet so don't ask)

    MINT...like new pretty much.

He hasn't bought any seats yet but he wants 03/04 CObra seats. When he does i already pretty much said i'd take his stockers. When/IF it happens i am not sure.

Even the Cobra's and Machs? I might have an upholstry shop try to use some of the material from the back so I can keep the same look. The machs have the ribbed center and I'd like it to match the fronts.
